How It Started

Lisa's personal journey with ADHD is what makes her stand out. Once feeling like a "square peg in a world of round holes," she found clarity in an ADHD diagnosis later in life. Even with years of professional experience, Lisa candidly admits that understanding ADHD and living with it are two different challenges. This genuine insight sparked the inception of ADHD Women Empowered. It's more than just a platform; it's Lisa's mission to empower women experiencing ADHD, enabling them to harness their innate strengths and develop essential life skills.

Holding a Bachelor of Education from the University of Regina, Lisa spent 17 enriching years shaping students’ minds in the classroom. Her commitment to learning extended beyond the traditional school setting. Lisa rose to leadership roles at the University of Regina, Saskatchewan Polytechnic, and the Learning Disabilities Association of Saskatchewan, working in positions supporting individuals with learning disabilities and ADHD. These and other roles also built a passion for nurturing talent, coaching and mentoring leaders across various capacities. Friendly, engaging, and deeply professional, Lisa bridges the gap between knowledge and lived experience, creating a haven for those looking to thrive with ADHD.

ADHD Women Empowered offers support and services for people who suspect they experience ADHD or are diagnosed with ADHD.

ADHD Women Empowered does not provide diagnostic or psychotherapy services.
